FOR POOR ATTENDANCE, TRUANCY AND LATENESS OUR SUPPORT MIGHT INCLUDE:
help to identify what might be causing the poor attendance
setting realistic targets to improve and maintain good attendance
identifying rewards and incentives to promote attendance
improving home-to-school communication, including home visits;
occasionally escorting children into school in the morning
communicating frequently with parents about positive achievements and improvements
working with the school to enable pupils to catch up with missed work to help minimise problems on their return to school
